The ESRC publish a number of publications each year, all of which you can download for free:
Society Now: this is published three times a year, highlighting research currently being undertaken by the UK’s leading social scientists. it demonstrates how social science research can contribute to better policymaking and ultimately, a better society.
Britain In: this is published once a year and showcases the diversity of ESRC-funded research around the state of the nation. The magazine is a mixture of academic opinion pieces alongside informed journalistic writing, offering a concise analysis of research and topical issues concerning Britain today.
Recession Britain: this was a one-off report exploring what can be learned from evidence on previous recessions: the three that Britain has experienced most recently as well as recessions elsewhere in the world, and the global recessionary period to which current times have often been compared, the 1930s.
